ponson is not good, i dont care what he has done for 6 weeks, the guy is not good. if you are relying on sidney ponson, you are in some serious trouble.
all you do is support a team because you live in that city, doesnt get much more reactionary than that.

good luck, i am sure you said nyy would beat cleveland last year in the loffs
i was happy to get cleve+150 for that series bc of geniuses like you

Based on regular season numbers, everyone thought the Yanks would beat the Indians. The Yanks went 6-0 in the regular season against them.

fifa, your use of numbers confounds me
who cares how they did in regular season, it is not connected to the playoffs

bc beckett does well against boston last year or in 2006 means nothing tonite, it has no bearing

sAMe with danks, he is not the same pitcher he was last year.
    your logic is faulty.

i won thousands on that tribe nyy series last october
betting against new york is the way to make money in mlb betting
    especially in the playoffs

Have you left mom's house yet, Ry?

Yanks are done boys, no starting pitching. They gave it a shot, but there is just no talent there. Ponson, Rasner, Pettitte, and Mussina are just not going to get it done. And the offense is not nearly good enough to make up for horrible starting pitching.

The funny thing is they traded three guys, Karstens, Ohlendorf, and McCutchen to the Pirates. Each one of those guys could have been up and contributing to the rotation or bullpen at some point this year. And would have been a better option than Ponson in the rotation.

What's wrong with saying the Yanks have a shot? The Yankees are only 4 games out of the wild card and 8.5 out of the East. Today is August 11th. The Regular season ends in early october. A Yankee homer would say that the Yankees are definitely making the playoffs. I am not saying that they definitely will. Rather, I am saying that they have a chance, especially since they have overcome adversity in many past seasons. For you to say that they have no shot is just ignorant. You are putting a lot of stock in a Rays team that can only pitch. While I agree that pitching wins championships, pitching alone doesn't. That is why the A's suck this year. The only thing that was holding the team together was their pitching, but now that Harden is gone, they don't have anything.

I'll make a deal with you Ryan. If the Yanks make the playoffs, you donate a Brazzers username and password to the SBR community. If they dont, I will change my avatar. I know the deal sounds unfair. But you have to remember that odds are greatly in your favor since the Yanks are 8.5 games out of the East and I never said that the Yanks would definitely make the playoffs.
