four years straight of winning big in bases, though I must admit some of those years I dumped it back in other sports. this being one of them.
- I lose in almost every other sport, every single season.

anyhow, this year i'm going bigger than ever for bases, and will not be playing any other sports.

i spent a good portion of time here last season, though my first two months were documented at another forum the__.com under the handle yamar2001 - I still take a look at a few guys' picks over there, but 90% of my time will be spent in this baseball forum - looking forward to getting to know some of you better.

I went up over 40 units in the first six weeks of baseball (and cashed out before the ASB figuring I likely would give some back) last year. i then went on to win 27 units in the playoffs - hopefully I can have as much success thie year.

my method almost every year is be very aggressive in the beginning of the year before the odd's makers adjust - this year will be no different, i'll be more aggresive in the first two months than I will be later in the year, only my unit sizes are the biggest they've ever been this year.i usually will make one thread per week, though it seems like you get more input from the forum if you make a new thread daily.

I tracked my mlb from day 1 till the end of the year last year. Won 119 units in MLB after a bad start. I expect to do much better this time. Hit 51% on almost 900 plays.

Paco was hot the first 2/3 of mlb season and didn't bet the last couple weeks of regular season mlb which probably allowed him to profit.
LB was down first 2/3 of the mlb season and the last 1/3 of the year was on fire. He also preached SFG throughout the postseason. Definately was the only guy on here last 4 or 5 weeks winning at all.
If you bet No Coin's leans on totals instead of his actual plays there is definately some $ to be made.

As for suggestion by salmon, my own picks are so bad and have such bad luck that, if a dice had all 2's all around it I would still roll a 7.

If anyone is interested, I found 2 cappers in another site who have won +units in past 3 years. I am looking for this kind of consistency; have 1 month to find more. They wont guarantee success, but rather follow a small unit winner for couple years in a row then 1 guy who won a ton but could be one year wonder.

Lakerboy = shit start, absolutely cleaned up hitting a ridiculous clip on TTs toward the end of last season. bases his picks purely on line movement. claims to not even know most of the players names.

Paco = great start, faded big time toward the end of the season (didn't we all??). Still a winning season I would think though. caps on feel, spots and stats. doesn't pay much regard to line movement.

NoCoin = good analysis man. always seems to cop bad beats though and doesn't always post plays. a real line movement and stats man.

PiMike: good capper. ordinary money management IMO - lost most of his roll chasing the padres last year during their big skid just before September. now a proper tout anyway - just $100 per month

the other two that i always looked at that had very good records here (i think) went tout after last season - TodaysAction and Therber.

There was a bloke last year - yegas gold i think who did well. again, he faded in the last few weeks of season, but i didnt really read his thread.

Come to think of it, i think LB was the only one who didn't get rolled toward the end of the season.
