I really believe this line should be more. The Mets are on a 9 game winning streak and they put their ace on the hill tonight. Santana has not seen alot of run support this season but runs haven't been a problem of late as Mets bats have come alive. Reds will counter with Cueto, who was blasted by the Mets back in May. In 4 and 2/3 innings Cueto gave up 6 runs on 8 hits including 2 homers. This rookie is in way over his head again as the Mets are playing great baseball. Make it 10 straight.
Padres/Cards under 4 (first 5 innings)
The way these two teams have been hitting I will go with the under. I don't think these two pitchers will have any problems throwing up bagels for the first part of the game tonight. I take the first 5 innings because the first half has taught me relief pitching can't be trusted.
