That's what they say every year. Yet the Yankees win the season series every year, including last year.

the whole key can be being the biggest payroll in baseball ..
who knows how smart yanks scholars will be around the trade deadline .
yanks could pull some power moves to acquire a starter to change what everyone thought about them as a team and on who will win the east or get the wild card ...

this is their only hope really . seems the new yank heads would want to make a big big splash their first go at it . is no different than playing fantasy baseball except it is the real deal with alot of $ involved and you can throw in a city's baseball legacy . but it is not like the yanks team legacy isin't already big enough . it's huge !
if they trade for a good starter they have a chance ..

when do the yanks ever make a deal thats smart

    clemens?
    kevin brown?
    unit?
    seriously? ever?
    nope
    they dont do it
    i like jeter, posada, cano

but arod is a loser, and they have no pitching at all. they will never win with this team. maybe wild card

yea keep fading the redsox while at fenway... don't stop... just keep betting against boston at home

also , how do you see the angels game shaping ? what do you foresee ?
if right or wrong doesn't matter . just want to know what you see occuring in these 2 late games tonight ..

i forsee oakland winning tonites game. i will be taking the a's at home as dogs. they always win somehow someway
that tamps game is tougher to call but i would lean angels. i dont think sheilds is good away from home and i like the angels against anyone in the al but boston. they lost last night and lost badly. i think they bounce back and win with the better team at home.
    i like both home teams!
    you?

already locked in on angels and yanks .
been looking/anticipating a night when both ny teams win . has been awhile . also liked the matchups and timing of the games , etc ...

thinking yanks play great tonight and angels is really iffy and could so easily be a 1 run game that swings in angels direction . hoping for ny and ana wins .

funny how it seems just like yesterday shields got thrown out the game in boston . lmao now here he is again .

not laying on the road can be a very smart strategy .
however there have been night after night after night that i see that every
away fav IN FACT WON THAT NIGHT AS THE ROAD FAV .
if i track it right now and give you the #s for this year thus far you would not even believe me ..

but , i also remember telling myself time after time that if i stayed away from the road teams i would have had no x's ..

check this thinking out >> there were 2 away favs in the al tonight . the wsox and the yanks .
if wsox lose what would that most likely mean would happen in the oak game ?

there was one away fav in the nl , the phils that are down 3 - 0 in the 5th

Mr. Rake sir, you don't get it. I never said I've been betting against the redsox at home all year long. I said that from this point of the season on, I see them playing 60:40 ball at home and ending up with no more than 56 wins at home.
Oh, and I did win against them today. Just like I posted and won against them when Seattle spanked them 8-0 three days ago. Thanks for your 2 cents though.
