I was a disappointing 1-2 Thursday, losing with the Orioles at a fat price in the ninth inning and losing with the Twins in extra innings. I am still in the black though. The Bullpen System had a profitable split, thanks to the Braves +115 and the Phillies +108. However, the system lost a winner when the Blue Jays rose to -132. BPS is now 48-47, +4.55 YTD. It looks like 4 BPS plays for Friday as of now, and here are 3 of them:
The bull pen system has worked out well, I did catch the jays using it at -121. I'm finding since I usually bet early in the morning I can catch the chalk games under the 130 mark at 5 am that end up later in the day being over that mark. The dogs I usually wait a big to see if the line moves with me.
LT: I played OAK -121 yesterday. Does this still qualify as part of the BPS?
Also, what do we do when #10 and #11 in the bullpen ERA lead are tied with one another (i.e. Atlanta and TB are both at 3.40 ERA). I know neither applies today b/c they are facing teams with Top 10 bullpens, but do we treat them as both qualifiers for the BPS then in the correct situation? Or do we make a distinction based on some other category?
I bet Oak -120 myself and I bet Toronto -123 yesterday. However, for record-keeping purposes, covers uses Pinny closings so Oakland will not count as official play, just as Toronto didn't count yesterday.
And yes, I include all teams tied for 10th, regardless of rounding.
