    If you followed a team for approximately 9 months and braodcast their games, you'd probably start betting just to keep yourself amused.

    When I was 12 years it was easy to watch the games just b/c thats' what 12 yr old guys do....I am 27 now and need motivation to watch multi-million dollars athletes day in and day out. Imagine being in your 50s or 60s, you'd really need a lot of motivation to watch baseball.
