Whose making real money with bets?

Just curious to know who actually considers themselves to be a pro bettor...meaning the money you make placing bets be considered better than actually working a job?

Just curious as I've been making plays on and off for about 4 months and am taking a beating. If I lose what I have I'm done for a long while.

    Anyone care to share?

I do not make more money sports betting than my other job yet, but I hope to in about a year. I have had a steady income from Sports Betting for a while now, but I am leaving the money in the accounts until my bank roll is big enough to quit my current job.

If I made enough money sports betting to compensate for a regular job, I probably wouldn't be posting on this board because I'd be coked out in Vegas with a harem of $5 whores.

I'd never want to rely on a double into the gap or the river card being a heart to pay my mortgage.

I like my steady job and gambling is for fun.

Don't know about others but I'm getting my ass kicked this year in bases, down almost 20 units.

I've been about even in baseball. Doing a little better since I decided to do just totals until May. Couldn't pick a side for shit, so why try and do something you're not, right?

My main plays are totals and then looking for bargains on 2nd halves of games.

The chase kills me, but it can be second nature. I can have a few great days and make some money, and follow it up with a few horrible days as my mind turns to recovery mode. I seem to do my best when I focus on one game at a time. My MLB plays have been awful this week, undoing a profitable spell that I enjoyed last week. Tonight I wont be playing on baseball unless I have success on my hockey play.(Rangers)

So far I'm up $1700. This is a hobby for me, but I admit it's addictive. I expect to be up about $12K at the end of the season. That will pay for Vegas and my annual golf club membership.

Doing really well in bases. Still early... plenty of time to give it all back.
