I won't be posting my picks regularly until I prove to myself I can hit with some kind of consistency, but there are a number of dogs playing Sunday that I think a guy has to look at.
I'll be on Milwaukee at +130. Suppan has a solid track record in April, has an ERA of 2.70 at Shea Stadium, and the Brewers face a hard-throwing lefty in Oliver Perez, one day after beating a hard-throwing lefty in Santana.
I also like the Angels in Seattle at +120. Saunders has been great, while Bedard has been inconsistent. The Mariners are improved, but they shouldn't be sweeping a team like Anaheim.
I'm also debating plays on the Cubs and Orioles, both at +120. The Cubs scored 16 runs in games started by soft-tossing Duke and Gorzelanny in Pittsburgh, and now face Moyer. And again, I don't think the Phillies should be sweeping the Cubs.
