david ortiz sucks. the guy couldn't hit an elephant in the ass within 5 yards with a fukn bazooka. in case you missed it red sox had runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs and oritz hits into a double play, then ramirez flies out. ortiz is hitting under .070, christ he sucks this year.
beckett sucks. he just gave the yanks that 2nd run for free.

i feel like the yanks may be making a mistake with keeping the moose in the game for the 6th...he's been able to finagle his way out of a few jam's...but this is risky.

Girardi has nothing to do with it. Mussina's fault for giving Manny something to hit. Moose should have just threw garbage to see if Manny would bite. Instead, the game gets busted open. You can bet that's what Moose was thinking about on the bench.
disagree. anytime you even pitch to manny there's a chance he can hit it a mile. moose is disciplined enough to throw a ball if he wants to...maybe moose wanted to pitch to him...but it's girardi's responsibility as manager to make the decision to walk him...the pitcher is always gonna want to pitch to someone. if girardi can't be man enough and make these types of decisions he shouldn't be manager.
