Seems like the padres do not swing the bats well or if the baseball just does not carry well on cold nights. Brad Penny was 15-3 with 2.67 era in night games in 2007. Penny did not pitch in too many day games in 2007 as he was 1-1 in day games with a 4.71 era. The padres have struggles in scoring runs in April night games not just this year. They started the same way in 2007. Somebody bring out some heaters for these cold weather sissies from san diego.
