What's up guys.... this has had its highs and lows thus far in the season, but for those still on board to try to work this out, here are the number for the three day games, keep in mind as BOT rightly pointed out day games do have the tendency to have more early runs more so than night games:
Phi/Nym
Moyer 553/298 1/1
Perez 140/87 1/0
---- not too bad as far as career numbers go, but Moyer got absolutely shelled in his first outing in the first, and also, i have been thinking of avoiding taking these where the leadoff hitter is particularly dangerous, and Rollins certainly qualifies
Balt/Tex
Burres 17/11 1/0
Jennings 174/137 1/0
----- this one is definitely a coin flip, the only thing going for it is that both teams have trouble getting the bats going early, and neither has any considerable pop in the bats at the top of the order
Det/Bos
Rogers 444/280 1/0
Dice-K 32/16 2/1
----- i really want to take this one, solid pitching and two lineups that are starting very flat, only thing that scares me a bit is that fenway plays like a wiffleball field sometimes, i think this one has a better than 50-50 of going scoreless in the first.....
well that's it for day games, short afternoon card, really hoping things balance out today with this venture..... i guess the horrible day yesterday should have been anticipated a bit after the ridiculously good 12-3 day on sunday....
Hopefully there are some here still interested in working out an approach on this, you guys have been a great help with this, thanks....
what do you say, let's rekindle the winning ways with this card
I'm going to try to provide the best info once I see lineups each day. I'm going to put down YES, NO or NO BET for the three options. I think we can win $$$ on both sides of this!
Barring something weird, I can say that BAL/TEX is always certainly going to be a YES wager. Weather is already warm here in TX and Rangers usually hit well at home.
i'm still on it. went 1-2 yesterday all 3 plays being day games. staying away from day games today as i feel that sunday was the exception not the rule. probably will play a couple night games as long as they look good.
Phils/Mets - YES SCORE
Lots of big #s across the board in both lineups career-wise vs. the starters. J-Roll has 2 HRs off O.Perez and is 6 ofr 19. He's the key man in the top of the 1st one way or the other. Mets hitters hit Moyer awfully well. Reyes is 7 for 20. Castillo 4 for 11. Wright 8 for 18 with 2 HRs. Beltran 10 for 40. Delgado 28 for 65.
Might want to look at the OVER for the Mets team total today and this game in general.
i was just browsing thru betcris and noticed that they have an easier play than no runs in first inning;; it's called 'team to score first';;
it gives more time for the bad starter to mess up or the fav offense to score;; what are you're thots???
----- both these guys looked very solid in their first outing of the year, also Jeter is out, not that that is a huge bullet in the chamber anymore, but ARod is swinging the bat pisspoor thus far, probably 50/50 but might be solid for scoreless first
I think the key to this is me not playing a game. It seems that if I make a play I lose but if I hold off it comes through. Maybe I can trick the bettings Gods
lol.... anyone find it odd that for the cincy game tonight at the greek, you can bet score in the first, but they pulled the scoreless option off the board with cueto pitching
