Nice lookin card today but must proceed with caution this time of year. One play thay really sticks out to me is the Brewer- Giant game. This line looks suspiciously low @ SF -145. Bumgarner last 3 outings has a ERA of 0.89 with a WHIP of 0.836. SF holds a 4-0 advantage. They are in the middle of a pennant race, they are 9-3 last 12. Bumgarner career is 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA and WHIP of 0.750. On the other hand Randy Wolf has been pitching well, his last 3 starts he has a 2.75 ERA with a WHIP of 1.373. Career he is 8-5 with a 3.10 ERA AND WHIP of 1.202.! With SF comming off a very intense series with arch rival LA, I think the BREWERS + 135 is worth a shot.....Good luck!
I agree line looks low but not sure if that is a good reason to go the other way.
SF's bats broke out in a big way against a lefty last night and now face another lefty at home today.
My guess is the line is a little low cause of the inconsistancy this year of Bumgarner more than anything else.
slimpickins Iam not just going the other way but the price on the game does( IMO )tell you something. Also Wolf is 2-0 with a 1.41 ERA in 5 starts @ SF. GL.
If there is a team that is playing with pasion and has the crowd behind them, it's the Giants. Their pitching staff is amazing, and their line-up is deadly when it's awake like yesterday.
The reason it's low is because Bum has NOT won a game at home yet this season...there you go that pretty much explains the line. Giants are the play and Bum gets the W. Take it as an early Xmas gift.
