Does anyone think there is anything to betting team totals?

I've been thinking about betting team totals. I can't find any historical lines for team totals, I can only find totals for each game. I'm thinking about either chasing the over or under until I hit one or betting it straight if I can find that one hits more than the other. odds are good on team totals. Most are between even money and -120. Anyone out there tried it and know if it can work or not? Or possibly have any resources that would help me?

Backtesting would be highly difficult because I can't find any old data for team totals. It's basically a lot of guesswork using the game total for the game.

I will. But I'm trying to find something that might be profitable in the long run. Aren't we all? a long streak one way or the other would kill bankroll.
