    OAK +117 HUGE on Saturday

    I went against the Twins the past two nights, and let's be honest: they were flat-out lucky to escape so many disastrous innings. I don't know how many bases-loaded jams they managed to slide through; I stopped counting after a while.

    If it was a day game I would go huge... Duensing isn't as good as his ERA though, gotta look a little more.

    Be careful with these kind of plays at this time of the season. Teams that have nothing much to play for don't seem to care about winning! At 5-1, with an ERA of 2.27, Duensing is no easy fade. Don't forget that this same Duensing shutout the A's at home last year!

    since may 26 his team win record is 7-0 when he starts on the road..
    this is what his earned run average looks like in each of those 7 starts: 1 at balt, 1 at det, 4 at cubs, 2 at st.louis, 1 at balt, 5 at kc, 0 at tex... if you look the trend is every 3rd game he gives up 4 or more.. his start at minn. will be the 2nd game in that trend.. looks like a winner and since i did this i'll have to join ya.. nice lead for a game.. thanks.. its fun to troll around and get my gambling hands into the mix.
