I know it's early, but I think the Mets are being seriously over-valued. They traded away one their best prospects in Lastings Milledge (team chemistry my a$$) and then picked up Johan Santana (for way too much money). They didn't add any real depth to the batting order. Everybody says that Johan's going to shutdown the NL, but it's not that simple (just ask Barry Zito). I'm not sold on the Mets this year.
*There's going to be a lot of money made betting against them.
The Mets were going to be over-valued even if they hadn't grabbed Santana. But they still have a pretty solid group. We'll see how their bullpen shakes out (will Duaner Sanchez make it back to his old form?) and whether or not Pedro Martinez is going to be healthy and make 28+ starts.
