    Gio +135 on Friday

I'm off the next day or two (a lot of bad beats the past three nights), but looking at this card, I thought I'd at least offer this game up as advice (take it or leave it).

Twins just had an emotional series with CHW, and are returning home from a 10-game road trip. A's are a dangerous team, Pavano is good but hittable, and Gio's only given up 6 ER in his last 27.2 road innings.

I'd at least keep an eye on OAK here.

Judging by what's happened to certain games the past few days and the difficulty of Fridays, tread lightly tomorrow. Could be a bloodbath.

    BOL!

I like that play a lot too on the surface, but something's telling me to stay away.

Did you go small all around today because it was Friday the 13rd?

I went small because I'm a bad-beat machine right now.

This didn't exactly help my confidence.

I had a few early on the week, you eventually bounce back a few days later. I had Toronto TT and the over in that Papelbon's breakdown 9th inning, for example.

It all evens out in the end.
