    Take the Cubs tonight.

    Now i know no one will want to do it but its the right play tonight. The Cubs got absolutely whacked last night and then come out as only +135 ML dogs the next day. Tom Gorzelanny has been pitching really well the last bunch of starts. I expect the Cubs to squeeze out a close win tonight. I would suggest waiting till near game time to get more + money on them. Take a shot with them.

    agreed,.....and i love taking teams who get demoralized, but Ive been a cubs fan for 20+ years and I will NOT be putting money on them. I will however be watching the game. Hope they win.

    LB I don't know about this Seattle Game but by simply looking at the line, why are the twins only that price at home. Haven't they been on fire? I know the Seattle Pitcher is really good but Seattle sucks but the way that line is set up makes it seem like Seattle is the play.

    COL my favorite play on the board today. Hammell has been solid even in his road defeats and is much better at home. COL is building momentum and will go on a good run over the next month...bank on it. Just like last year.

    Not to mention Gorzelanny's high walk rate during this "hot" stretch. Who did he beat on the road? The Dodgers? nuff said. The Diamondbacks? Only team that would let him get away with walking 6 batters.

    Don't the cubs have a good record of avoiding sweeps? I think earlier in the season I read a stat saying that they were undefeated in game 3 after losing the first two in a 3 game series.

    hey sharper, i believe so. i backed the cubs twice on the last games during the cws inter league series. they avoided both sweeps. i think the last time they got swept was back in may. thanks for the reminder. i am going to up my play on this
