Damn you Diez! It's 1-1 now!

I tell you what Diesel, I'll give you 5 points if you don't say another word today during this game. You can say what you want after the game, but for now, if you stay quiet, I'll transfer you 5 points at the end of the game. De we have a deal?

Pound the Padres in series bets and pound them each game starting tonight.

    Lights out in LA!!!

Diesel, now you can talk all the smack in the world about the Dodgers!

Good job Diez ol' buddy for staying quiet today. If you want the 5 points, let me know, and it's yours.

this will be a long race, if the dodgers can pick up with the bats to keep up with that staff they have a legitimate shot at least the wc.

Yesterday, in game 2, the dodgers wasted a golden opportunity to get back into the race. They failed to build on the momentum from that win in game 1. And now, the loss in this 3rd game puts them in a worse position than they were before the series. They do badly need to turn their bats around. I mean, they can't expect to be winning a whole lot of games by scoring just 5 runs in a three game series.

You're right though, this is still a long race. Now, they have an important 3 game series with SF, and then they'll play the Pads again in a 4 game series. They may still gain some ground, but it's tougher now. Honestly, I don't think they'll win more than 1 game in the SF series, and they might split the 4 game series with the Pads.

The Padres do stink offensively, but their offense has been doing well since the All-Star break. Hopefully, with the addition of Tejada, they could strengthen their offense a bit. Anyways, this is not an offensive team. They live and die by their pitching.
