Going with the big guns on Tuesday

Verlander and Detroit +110: Like the fact they're coming off a no-hitter; Tampa should be partying late tonight and Shields has been sub-par all season long.

Strasburg and Washington -140: Line says it all, and I think Hanson's pitching hurt right now. I'm through fading this cat; all aboard the Stras bandwagon.

Lee and Texas RL: I know Lee has struggled in Arlington, but I think the Rangers take care of business against road Gio here. You'll have to pay through the nose here, but I think it will be worth it.

Also like TOR RL, HOU FF, CHW RL, and MIN to keep the good times rolling. If you like dogs, consider the Pirates and (gulp) Mets. Hate fading Waino, but Cards struggle vs. lefties and Niese might get them here.

Hanson sucks badly at night, seems like one of the best plays on the board.

I like most of them, and I must say if the Twins keep this up, they will be scary coming October.

I've been wanting to fade them recently; in fact, I tried at Baltimore. Didn't work. And normally, I don't like taking a team that scored so many runs the night before, but Chen blows and Pavano's been rock-solid since he started rocking the 'stache.

twins do not have electric enough starters to scare anyone in the post season, they should have went for Lee then they would be contenders..In the post season you gotta have pitchers that can miss bats and the twins starters are not that, they very hittable...

Depends on Morneau, though. They need his bat, and I'm not sure about this concussion deal. Some athletes never recover from that.

How about Delmon Young? Man, that guy's been a monster recently.

Bank, what do you think about fading Waino tomorrow? Just don't like the Cards offensively in this spot....

True, but there bats were always very strong, and they are some strong tools on the mound. They can def make some noise.

There's only one team that can get past Yankees: Texas Rangers.

That said, Twins have no chance.

I agree they should have made a play for Lee, but that goes without saying. Baker and Blackburn have been junk this year. They're lucky Pavano is careering it.

Mets have been putrid offensively, but Niese is the kind of guy that gives StL trouble....

With that being said, it'd be tough to sit there and just hope for runs off of Wainwright. I kind of feel the same way about making a play on SF against JJ later in the night.

That should be a hell of a pitcher's duel -- which means it'll probably be 8-6.

Hard not to like Josh at -114.

Cain has tendencies to get rattled really easily.

    Managers

    They all suck.

How about the Mets manager that took out Dickey. Right after that the bully gives up the run that loses them the game.

How I can go from these leans (6-1-2) to a losing night is beyond me.
