I was thinking about this yesterday when the Yankees' RL was +120 or whatever. Is it better to consistently take RL's (I know you get burned sometimes, but the same goes for all types of betting) with high-powered offenses, or try to spot play small to medium-sized underdogs?
I have a place to play -5 RL's so I have been playing those teams at home with some great success. Basically I just check if the home team is favored (not by -1.5) but by -.5 and go with them. It's given me good success in the wallet and here so there you go. Reduces the juice since they play straight up. Cheers-that might sound really nerdy but what can you do.
I really have a strong preference to playing dogs. I play a lot of 1st 5 and game plays with the same team depending on the starting pitching/bullpens, nice to go 4-6 yet still make money.
