Tonight I am playing on the HOUSTON ASTROS/PITTSBURGH PIRATES game.

As HOUSTON and PITTSBURGH continue their 3 game series (HOU leads 1-0, and 6-0 this season) cardinal killer, BUD NORRIS takes the mound tonight. NORRIS is coming off his 5 ER performance v STL whom he previously dominated with a 0.88 ERA.

NORRIS (2-6 5.97ERA) has gave up at least 5 ER in seven of his last nine starts.


NORRIS has actually pitched solid v the PIRATES in his one start this year, going six innings and allowing only 1ER in a 9-1 HOU victory back in september.




OHLENDORF (1-7, 4.22ERA) will start for PITT, after going 1-1 with a .90 ERA in his last three starts.




Trends on this point to the UNDER, without a doubt.

the PIRATES are dead last in runs scored, standing at an insulting 286. Thats about 3.2 runs per game.



Weather will be sunny, mid 80s with 12mph winds.




I bet you're wondering why I am not playing the UNDER. This is a I hate string beans but i'm going to eat them anyway play, as one poster said to me in reference to my write-up/play style. Neither team can pitch, neither team hits the ball particuarly well. Toss up really, but I feel the OVER comes in on this one.
