    Brewers +160

Anybody looking at this? So far I see everybody clamoring over the Braves. Yes, the Braves are a better team and swept the Brewers on the road in May that was the beginning of the Braves good play. What I am looking at a starting pitcher in Dave Bush for Brewers that is currently in good forum over his last 5 starts giving up 2 ER or less in 6+IP Not to mention that Bush has always pitched well against Atlanta in the past giving up 3 ER or less in 4 starts.

It's true that Bush could make a good start tonite and the Brewers still lose because the Braves bullpen trumps them at every turn. The Brewers still have a dangerous offensive lineup going against JJ tonite who is still finding his grove from the DL.

Just some thoughts or opinions if anybody is looking at this one way or the other.

How has Jurrjens looked since he's returned, lyon? Numbers are decent -- nothing outstanding.

Numbers are pretty good but somewhat deceiving against Philly. Philly looked awful offensively that nite due to lack of patience plus as you well know they are missing key pieces. FYI, Raul Ibanez turned him over for 2 run shot in the first... Straight pull job and if you been following Ibanez lately you know that is rare for him now because a good fastball now up and in will beat his bat almost everytime. JJ velocity was 91-93 topped out and when he is right he can max 94-95. Changeup he seems to have a good feel for amazingly considering his time off. That is really his out pitch, but when he is in good forum he beats many with his fastball because it is deceptively faster than the gun reads especially when elevated.

Bush has made 5 straight quality starts, allowing just 7 ER in his last 31.2 IP.

Banker, went ahead and put 2 dollars on the under to ride with you. Braves have been winning with pitching and haven't scored runs in weeks.. At least nothing over 4 runs. If Braves pitch well I like our chances.

I like Bush's current form and history against ATL. If we get a quality start from JJ we will have a chance.

I played the under as well, hopefully Bush makes it through 7+ because the brewers pen does worry me slightly. Good luck

i personally wouldn't burn $$$ on brew crew until they're officially declared dead sometime next month...

meanwhile you're gonna continue getting what I'd consider shit prices like this with a marginal pitcher like Bush.

Even the o/u is too low to bet under imo

betting Dave Bush is like going to Mercedes dealership to buy a high-mileage '95 "pre-owned" chevy cavalier....

save ur $$$ brah....treat yourself to another round of drinks instead of wasting it on guy

I had the Braves as my best bet tonight I posted it this morning, tomorrow I expect runs galore play the over braves/brewers I looking at 11 or 12 bank it. By the way you did make some good points and Bush did pitch a decent game tonight.

good call, no offense but the under at -109 was a much better play than braves -160 or whatever you got it at...what exactly makes you think there gonna score a bunch of runs 2marro? i havnt really even looked yet, just curious why you think it will be so easy..

In the end it was so easy and clear cut it was scary.. I really felt Atlanta would struggle offensively tonite as they have been for weeks but they continue to win because of pitching. I was only worried about the Brewers offensively. I knew if JJ did his job tonite we would most likely be sitting pretty. Thanks to JJ we made it. I had no doubts the Braves were going to struggle. They are my team and I get to watch them every nite.
