Denver post: Rockies sign Troy Tulowitzki for 30 mill/6 years
The Denver Post reports that the Rockies and Troy Tulowitzki have agreed to a six-year, $30 million contract with a club option for 2014.
The option would buy out his second year of free agency. It'd be the largest deal ever for a player with less than two years of service time, eclipsing the one Grady Sizemore signed two years ago. Jan. 20 - 1:54 pm et

getting these types of deals even younger in their careers, you have to wonder what happens if a player's hot out of the gates and then eases up once the contract's in. I guess you don't only have to have talent scouts, but also player's long term character assessment scouts!!
