    Modeling Offense

Curious how anyone deviates from Murray's outline in Betting Baseball. I guess you can move into EqA and linear weights pretty easily, but what about other methods to do the modeling. Murray uses a approx (someone correct me if I get confused since this math heavy stuff isn't really my forte, though its debatable if I'm strong enough to call anything a forte) and I was wondering if you'd be able to develop a better method of showing what an offense could do.

Feel free to PM me if no one wants to share publicly.

Are you familiar with a program called Diamond Mind? It can be used to do Monte Carlo simulations to analyze how an offense would do in various situations.

    Thanks for the response.

I have heard of it. Very little about it though. The one thing I heard is that it wasn't very useful for betting so I gave it up at that point
