The Reds played great ball yesterday behind their young phenom pitcher Leake and they won 5-1. The Nationals are starting to fade slightly as they await their own young pitcher Strasburg to join the team as the Nats have now fallen to 27-29. Cincinnati will send out Arroyo today and he has been pitching better as of late if your not including the Saint Louis game. In 4 of his previous 5 game he has given up 1,2,4, and 0 earned runs with 4 wins as his ERA has gone down to 4.92. Stammen on the other hand for the Nats has been getting worse as the season goes on as he has given up 5,6,4 and 4 runs in 4 of his last 5 starts and his ERA has swelled to 5.88. I feel like the Reds need to pick up one more win before leaving town as they are struggling to keep pace with the hot Cardinals. Smart money here is on the Reds.
