Why would the Phils be -136 to beat San Diego on Saturday? Garland's a superior pitcher on paper vs. Moyer, he's been better recently, SD is very good on the road (10-3 L13), Philly's still in an offensive funk, etc., etc.
A closer look reveals Garland's 8.02 career ERA in four starts against the Phillies, including 11 runs allowed in 11.1 innings in '09 while pitching for Arizona. SD also ranks 12th in the NL against lefties for BA and HR.
The fact that this isn't a -118 or so tells you Vegas believes Philly is the winner here, so you should be on them as well.
