Correia is a very good pitcher as well and San Diego is playing much better according to their record. Leaning hard on San Diego. Jimenez can't keep pitching shutouts and the value is good here with SD

so can we make a slight assumption that sharp money may have moved the line?

Correia can hold his own, but I like Jimenez against the free swinging Padres

actually I'd lean towards no. San Diego has a much better record and Jimenez isn't that well known by Joe Public IMO. This game puzzles me, as why I'm passing.

Doesn't make sense to me either. I'm gonna jump on it small.

They are in the same div. Padres are #1. They have a 3 run avg. advantage and are 77%
home win %. The only diff. is the pitcher ERA.

Hope the line keeps moving so I can get a better line on Jimenez. Thanks Padres backers.

I may be wrong but I have been watching the Padres lines closely for the last week plus and Vegas is still giving them favorable lines. I think that no one has bought into them yet and people still are trying to bet against them. I think finally some money is coming in on the padres and they have to move the line. Nothing out of the ordinary. I lean towards the Dads in this one. Unless Ubaldo can repeat what Gallardo did on Friday.

Yeah, Correia is good, but anytime Jimenez is pitching, I would have to go with him. Last time Correia pitched he had 8 hits with 4 runs.. and that was within 5 innings against the Marlins. COL ftw!

I think the public is also drawing that line down ... seems to me majority is on San Diego .. that could have something to do with it ... I think if the public were on Ubaldo we could read more into that movement.

How's that?... was bases loaded in the 9th? (I didn't watch the game.)

The box scores has it 5-1 going into the bottom of the 9th.

Correia is really good! I would have definitely taken him if he was up against someone else yesterday. I have a watchlist of pitchers who I think are outstanding and Correia is on there. (And of course Jimenez is on there.)

Don't forget the 13 K's. Plus the Rockies have the 2nd best bullpen, ERA wise, so they would of had to have a meltdown.
