Your right if Cards tie it were done.. We need 6 outs now without a run crossing and the 8th will be the test with 2,3,4 due up. If we slide by the 8th we may have a shot. I won't believe until I see it though. I am glad I took Houston because it was a tossup game like I expected getting +200 odds , but I certainly see the hurdles to jump for us to win... The game has played out just as I expected also but a win would be nice for the compensation.

    Lyon804,

I'm still more hopeful of the Astros than I am of the hapless Brewers. We all knew Zambrano will be lit, but these Brewers have a habit of giving up runs in bunches. We'll see it how it goes with both games.

Huge insurance. If the Astros can't win now, they'll never win.

    You've hit it already. Why?
    1) STL won't come back
    2) The Cubs pen can't do well twice in a row. They'll blow and the Brewers win!

It will be fine. The Brewers/Cubs game will be decided by the pens. Both pens suck but the Cubs pen sucks more.

    I'm hopeful of the Brewers.

In the NHL, I'll do 2 blind bets:

    Canadiens +240
    Kingd +170

In playoff games, there are no prohibitive favorites!

I here you.. Sorry my bets were hard to read.. I just copied and pasted and it got mixed.

Brewers took back the lead but with Suppan pitching I don't know..Missed opportunity to blow the game open now I will sweat with all the lighter fluid bullpen of the Brewers..

If I am lucky enough to get or hold a lead going into the 9th it will be dicey with Hoffman. He has been lit lately.

What sucks is... I was planning on doing the Mets +170 and backed out and chose Brewers instead.. Mets are crusing.

It's going to be a long ass season for the Brewers.. That team can't pitch for shit with starters are bullpen.. Can't always outscore people. Have to get outs.

Brewers are just too awful. But the Cubs aren't much better either.

Too late to matter now, but to get ready for our loss... Brewers don't win often in Wrigley.. damn, I should have done mets instead.

you have a point in part of what you say. but i believe you'll get more value betting against bad streaks and betting on hot streaks and more on bullpens than starting pitchers.... i believed and still do believe you put way too much value on 13 innings that this guy had pitched against the cards, what kind of sampling is that to make this and even game in your opinion ..... all this said - i'm glad you won your bet!!
