    coming from an M's fan...both of his starts were against us, and we can't hit thus far in the season....i say wait for a few more starts til he faces better offenses to see if hes for real..

    Exactly. Take his stats with a grain of salt. Big Oakland fan, so I hope he's back for real, but I'm waiting for him to pitch against a less anemic offense.

    One thing that is benefiting A's pitchers this season is the overall team defense. Save for Opening Night, there have been few gaffs in the field.

    Oakland could be a legit team this season.
