Schilling pitched quite well down the stretch, and the 12 days off between outings should benefit him here, as he's shown that added time off has given him more life on his fastball. There hasn't been a better postseason performer in recent memory than Schilling, and I expect him to fare well tomorrow. Weaver's been relatively solid, and Boston's lineup is far less effective away from Fenway. The Halos' lineup is extremely ordinary right now, and their offensive problems are even more profound with Vlad banged up. Even though Guerrero's expected to play, with no protection around him it's likely he will see very few pitches to hit. With the day off between games, everyone is available for both bullpens. The early start on the west coast should also play a role, as the shadows will make it even more difficult for the hitters. All signs point to a low-scoring affair tomorrow afternoon.
