    TWG's 2010 Baseball Picks of April

    Well Hello again! It's been quite awhile since i've been in the Baseball Handicappers Thread. Been since September. If anyone can remember, I was doing baseball picks from August thru late September.

    Also, I did some NHL handicapping early in the 09-10 NHL season, but strayed away from that, and this site.

    I'm here to pick up at the beginning of the season on the MLB season and to make some big $$$!

    Starting out with a roll of $300. Looking to get that around $700-800 by early June, preferably sooner.

    In case you cannot tell by my avatar, the St. Louis Cardinals is my favorite team (born there, raised there.) Expect a little more picks about the Cardinals, but there will ALWAYS be insight around my picks, unless the odds are -250 or higher.

    Look for me to make 1-3 picks daily, mostly in the 1-2 range.

    Missed opening day, Would've gone 1-0..Would've picked my Beloved Cardinals, but I won't make a big deal of it.

    Well, I'm not just sitting here, picking a game to bet on. I look at pitchers stats, such as splits and things of that nature, I just don't like to include them in my explanations. Get's a little too technical for me. Boston is outright the better team in this matchup so I'm with them all the way.

    One more question though: If I bet on ML there a few more options:
    -on Betus you can choose between Action, Listed, Home, Away?
    -on Pinnacle you can check/uncheck "T. Wakefield must start"
    Which one is best to take and how does it influence the bet?
    I'm pretty new to Baseball bets

    I just stick with what they give me. Whatever is listed as the default, go with it. Otherwise I get confused myself.

    The money management, everyone has a different way of managing, . The more of a lock I believe it is, the more I will lay on the game. $40 is a pretty big number. The Phillies bet yesterday, I laid $85, because I was basically 100% confident it would win.

    Hope this helps. If not, feel free to ask around to other, more experienced bettors.
