I agree . They are at -178 , this game would hit the no brainer on paper category . Big stopper , big pappa ace to save the day......
some shi$ is gonna hit the fan in the NL West this weekend , DBACKS at ROCKIES LAST 3 , HOLY MOLY !!!

my gut tells me that the rockies put everything into this streak and when they come home...AZ takes it to them and wins the first game and takes the division on friday regardless of what happens tomorrow...but the wild card??? that is going down to the last day....and I'm starting to like the Phillies....

I like the Phils to take it too .
If they can beat Smoltz tomorrow that will be something special to take into the weekend with the lowly Nats huh ?
I have a hard time seeing the Phils win tomorrow , but in a hitters ballpark , esp if ball is carrying , it is a simple tossup , who knows ......
If the Rockies do surprise everyone and make it that would be an easy moneymaker fade whoever they play ............

The Padres at Brew for 4 games is a big deciding series . I dont like it to be so complicated .
We have to be careful with the who knew scenario winning out ...........

very interesting...SD vs MIL with that lineup...I'm thinking MIL may do some damage, especially with no Milton Bradley or Cameron for SD...and just like Nats took it to METS I don't see that happening vs Phillies...these games vs the METS were the NATS playoffs...Phillies should...and I stress the word should take it to the NATS....

yes I agree , Phils spank Nats in Philly .
Unless there is a total amazing bullpen collapse from Phils , they coast into the postseason .
A win on thurs over the Braves would put me in a position to PLAY EM FOR SURE TO SWEEP THE NATS .

funny the Braves have been red hot winning 8 of their last 9 games going into their loss at Phils tonight and they will miss the postseason . Hot as a firecracker and get to sit .

Results for trying to avoid the sweep :

    3 of the 5 were swept .

D - Backs started off in the early day game by avoiding the sweep .
Orioles also avoided being swept in 3 .

There will be a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiggggggg trying to avoid the sweep category on sunday as playoff implications may be involved.
