    Action refers to starting pitcher.

An action wager means you're taking whoever will be the starting pitcher.

An action/team wager means anyone can start for the first team and team portion will be replaced with the listed starting pitcher. Since this is spring training, most starting pitchers don't go very deep or even deep into their game.

A team/action wager is the reverse of the above (listed pitcher verses anyone).

Some people factor the starter in their process, others don't both have ways that can be used to be successful. Hope that clears it up for you.

Yes, but only once the regular season starts.
