    Batemans Best Bet: Sept 12

    Pick 1 and only 1 Game. It can be ML or Totals.
    Now throw in 2 votes, for whichever 2 games u like and/or dislike from the Selected games made on this thread.

    It would be interesting to see what %age of the SBR members agree or disagree with another members pick and to see whether the "majority" or "trend" was right or if the Original Bettor was more precise.
    Hopefully we can get alot of Votes here so we know which direction we can confidently lean on.
    I will update this as often as I can, tallying up all the votes.
    It will be fully updated 30 minutes prior to Game Time and After All Games Are Completed. So come on out and "Vote" It's your SBR duty!
    When Selecting your Pick, please indicate the Team and line from which u got it at. When "voting" it would be easier to just say "Vote" and the Team.

    We usually have the same regulars, the more we get though, the better it is. I'm not concern about our losing records, i'm more interested in participation. Many posters dont know how well they are picking or how bad they are picking. This keeps track for them...the rest is up to them. I for one didnt know my totals were doing good this past week (before i faded near the end). I noticed i made more sides on the first week, but made more Totals for the next week. Had a slightly better improvement. Anyways thanks for the Post savant and GL

    Toronto, McGowan has been nice as of lately. Mussina an absolute flop. McGowan has already proved he can compete with the yankees having won 2 games already this year against them. Play it to the max !!!!

    I bet this as soon as it came out last night:

    NY Yankees (Mussina) +100

    Yeah Mussina doesn't look as good on paper as McGowan, but, if Mussina is to turn things around his best chance will be against the withering, tired, and deflated Blue Jays.
    Toronto's young pitchers seem to have run out of gas and look shaky lately, I look for that trend to continue tonight.

    Jays bats have been very quiet lately as well.

    I can't bet on Toronto with any confidence from what I've seen.

    Toronto was lucky to score a run on Wed.

    I like AJ Burnett to stop the bleeding for the Jays on Thurs.

    Line opened at Toronto -110. I don't think I'll play it at that price though.

    Thanks EJandV for making it easier for the posters to read, I appreciate that. These next 3 days i wont be able to update it as usual ...so hopefully EJandV will be reading this (or some other regular)
    I see u guys had a lot of Picks going Wednesday Night.
    Our regulars went 2-1, and overall 4-6
    I dont count first 5 innings. I convert RL's into a ML pick,
    and if a game is already chosen and u take the other side, I record it as a vote ( which carries as much weight as a correct Pick IMO) Please read the opening Posts
    And if u make more than 1 Pick (or 2 votes), your very first Pick (or first 2 votes) will be recorded.
    If everyday's going to be like this, I'll have a lot of work to do in updating the weekly records
    EJandV, I dont think I saw u in my Best Bet NFL....I'll be posting it up on friday morning. Dont make me come stalk u
