    Reds/Cubs

Cubs right-hander Carlos Zambrano is 9-7 with a 3.20 ERA in 24 career sppearances versus the reds. He's allowed just 99 hits in 132 innings of work. Zambrano has posted an impressive 4-1 record and 2.50 ERA in his six starts since the all star break. The cubs are 8-1 in their last 9 home games versus a team with a losing record.

    Pick: Cubs -137

Not sure what to make of this matchup really. I'll most likely just pass on it.

I agree Dan, Harang is 11 – 3 with an ERA of 3.37. He is 6 – 0 with an ERA of 2.30 in his last 13 starts and is 1 – 1 with an ERA of 1.42 over his L3 starts. This is Cy Young stuff......The Cubs are hurting and are 3 - 8 in August.

I like the Cubs in this one actually. Yes Harang is good, but Cincy really does have a shaky pen, and that is a bad thing on the road in what is likely to be a close game. Ramirez should be back for the Cubs, I like the Cubs here, even at this line.
