That's a solid price in a game that really is a mismatch.

I agree.. Now the line is up to -140 at some books and I'm sure will get even higher by tonight.

I like the Mets as well here, but I am feeling funnier and funnier about is as I look at it more. I'll stick with it though, but I don't feel nearly as good about it as I did when I first took it. GL to us with it.

Lots of action on the Mets (>70%) but minimal line movement suggests may be so called sharp $ on Pitt

Exactly, so why isn't this line getting exploited. Very little movement as I mentioned on a line that already seemed a bit short.

This is one of those games where it just seems too easy to take the Mets, especially with Pirates coming off 3 games in barely 2 days.

    I may take the Pirates.

    I agree, gents.

IMO, El Duque is due for an EL Stinker in a game that the Mets SHOULD win. Snell pitched well last week, and the Mets are down a couple catchers, and Beltran (as well as others) are not hitting like they should.

PIT may be the only way I could play this one, but probably will stay away.

To those who take the Mets, I hope I'm wrong.

    GL

remmy, you remind me of another guy on this board who claims to bet a lot. If you are him or his brother, and you lose, you'll mortgage a house or something and double up on a game tomorrow. Baseball is too unpredictable to bet 24K on one game... Good luck

i am not afraid to admit i have somewhat of a problem - i like the big $. as crazy as it sounds, it puts me on crazy winning streaks and i take the $ out immediately and invest it. i go in streaks.

you weren't really wrong. El Duque wasn't sharp. Pirates couldn't capitalize on early run scoring possibilities. They're still the Pirates.

it's part of the game. tough loss. i actually fell asleep and woke up in the 9th w. 2 out. one of the toughest losses ever. it's part of the game. when i won 33k on the KC royals RL a few months ago i knew i'd do something crazy again and could lose. i lost. life goes on.
