Yanks 4 games behind the Sox.....

Boston fans are wiping up a little mess in their collective pants today.

Yankees are something like 23-8 since the break. That is red hot. Will they tail off?

You have to wonder. NY has a decent rotation. I think P.Hughes being back is huge. The chemistry in the dugout seems good. Might get some production from Giambi in the DH. Yanks lineup from 1 to 9 is good.

Red Sox have a great team, no doubt. The lineup, is built on the fact that Papi and Manny will drive in runs. They haven't done so well lately. How good would the Sox be if Beckett or Dice got hurt.

I think they Yanks might catch them. Either way it makes for good baseball.

End of the month. I'm sure Boston is still saying they're not worried, they damn well oughta be. I thought this was a key series for the Yanks to show if they were gonna keep pushing or not. With this sweep, I think they can stay within reach of BOS until that series. NY should be able to at least split their games with DET in the coming days with the way they've been playing.
