    As I said, I pick the Red Sox to win the World Series because of their bullpen.

    Hard to not smile about that either. I have the Red Sox winning the whole thing against the Mets.

    Baseball is a funny game. I don't think too many people had St.Louis in the predictions last year.

    More often than not the best team in baseball does *not* win the world series, it's the team that plays the best in the post season which is a relatively short period of time compared to an entire baseball year. That said, Obviously the Red Sox have the best team in baseball, nobody could ever argue that, but does that mean they will win the WS? Absolutely it does. All past trends, history, and general things about baseball are null and void when it has to do with Boston, simply because their fans are that disillusioned and we actually enjoy getting our hearts torn in half nearly every year. The end.
