    Players are probably scared of the unknown long term effects of Covid 19. They are taking ask the risks while the owners can wear a mask and socially distance as well as being cheap. Can't blame them. Season probably wouldn't finish due to the "Rona"anyways.

    Fans should start organizing NOW to impose their own penalties on this ridiculous sport:

    Boycotts across both leagues. Goal: a 25% reduction in attendance across BOTH LEAGUES
    throughout the whole 2021 season.

    Maybe that will get their attention.

    Boycott Spring Training too. It's largely a waste anyway.

    REFUSE to purchase food, drinks or souvenirs at games we attend. No beer, no hot dogs...

    Get creative people. This could be fun!

    Need sports leagues w no union and cheaper tickets.

    The XFL would be great with 80s style rules and a few better qbs....no big money.

    A 3rd pro league like the old Federal league or maybe independent leagues come back strong.

    People need to realize the problem with unions in a monopoly...be it government or sports, they destroy everything because there is nothing to negotiate against.

    Owners can mandate 48 games at full money but no expanded playoffs...but they're still going to lose $500mm and players WILL NOT let them profit so why would owners do this? There's no money and as such salaries next year will drop dramatically and owners make more $$$

    “Just tell us where and when,” while catchy, was never about making a deal. It was about daring MLB to impose a season on the players ASAP so they could then file a grievance claiming the league didn’t make a good faith effort to schedule more games.

    If there’s going to be a fight the time for that fight is after the ‘21 season when a new CBA is negotiated. 5 years of potential change. We’re doing irreparable damage to our industry right now over rules that last AT MOST 16 months. WTF kind of sense does that make?
