Blue Jays -127 (Monday) looks damn good. Any thoughts here?

    Toronto -127

Blue Jays have won 7 of their last 10 games
Devil Rays have lost 8 of their last 10 games

Blue Jays definitely have the pitching advantage...

Dustin McGowan, RHP (7-5, 4.45) (Blue Jays pitcher)
    Batters hitting .242 AVG

    vs

Andy Sonnanstine, RHP (1-6, 5.57) (Devil Rays pitcher)

    Batters hitting .290 AVG

    ________________________

    Devil Rays Bullpen ERA= 6.78
    Blue Jays Bullpen ERA= 3.42

Seems to me Toronto -127 seems fair.. What do you think?

I think it's pretty good, I don't know if I would quite say damn good, although after I look into it more I can certainly see myself thinking of it that way. I do think there's value with that side though at the current line.

Toronto would be the only way I could play this game as well. The problem I have though is the fact that TB just broke there losing streak, and it seems like more often than not a team will win the next game right after that.

I agree with BBD. I think TB will get this one, maybe even a second from TOR. TOR is not great on road, and if TB is going to win games, it may have to be at home vs. teams that are not in the hunt for the post season.

    Took Tor last night @-120.

Toronto has been pitching well lately, including the bullpen. A.Sonnanstine is capable of giving up runs himself, if he makes it to the 6th, that TB bullpen will have to go to work.

I'd be careful for the simple fact that I think Sonnanstine has more ablity than he has shown, while I conversely think that McGowan is not as good as his numbers.

big boy dan,i am 100% with you on your prediction.thats how i feel.i think tampa will follow up tonight with a nice win from the birds who are flying into tampa with jet lag and need a night to settle in.i think tampa wins tonight and the jays win tomorrow.I WILL BE AT THE GAME TONIGHT RISKING 1000 TO GET 1,170 ON TAMPA BAY.

You could be right LT. The thing I'm looking at is the fact that Sonnanstine has given up 2+ runs every start this year. He's never shut a team down.
McGowan could be so-so tonight, giving up 3-5 runs and I think the Jays could still win. If Sonnanstine goes 6, the Tampa bullpen still has to go through the Jays order 1,2 maybe 3 times.

Casey Fossum's in the game. Jays should be good for a couple runs in the 9th.

At least Tampa is in to their BP, which is terrible.

I'm feeling sick too, as I got my wager down close to game time I laid -140 on Toronto.

My thoughts are the Jays blew it!

Too many opportunities to score and didn't (especially in the 11th).
Probably the worst part was betting them as chalk. Fukk!
