The Angels’ struggles aren’t isolated between a few players either. It’s everybody, including three-time MVP Mike Trout, who went 0-for-11 with nine strikeouts in the series.

    Just this weekend.

4th most in MLB so far this year.

I guess he's either hurt, or just a little off so far.

    GL Mike.

Exactly. A couple weeks ago they had the 12th best team ERA in the majors and at the time still had a worse record then the Rangers who don’t have an Ohtani.

Harden's teams at least make the playoffs. His teams are are 9-13 in elimination games. Mike Trout is the Carmelo Anthony of baseball.

Bro at the time I created this thread you literally could not turn on ANY sports network without hearing about him. “Underrated if anything” what a fukking clown. Guy must have been living under a rock to have that thought process. He was more Kevin Love when he was a T wolf, then again Love wanted to play for a title instead of get paid and play in meaningless games. Trout a complete coward.

if he had any kind of team around him he would have won a WS or two already.

Bryce Harper and Mike Trout are incredible talents.

Hitters never have won traditionally it’s always the good pitchers

Trout was not even remotely a game changer they just come in last place every year just meaningless stats

You people are amateurs at best! Makes me ill looking at how unbelievably clueless you Trout haters are! The guy has lived in the MVP race his whole career and had put up insane numbers!! Lots of all time greats get stuck on bad teams and never win. Like him or not, Barry Bonds was an all time great and never won a title, he was for sure never overrated, he was a beast before and after "steroids".

In Trouts defense the Angels have very little to no pitching. Sure Trout makes an obscene amount of money and hasn't won anything yet to justify it but you can't win in baseball without a lights out pitching staff. Of course the Angels spent way too much money on position players that it left them without much to spend on pitching which is on management.

And some people think this guy is better than Barry Bonds was.

    Absolutely laughable.

As an Astros fan my Carmelo comment was a joke. Trout us is definitely an amazing talent. Angels never seem to get the top tier pitchers in free agency. How did they miss out on Cole a few years back? I thought that was a slam dunk that he signed with the Angels.

I’m the only “Trout hater” on this planet. This thread was started years ago as a result of Trout fatigue. I was hearing about him tearing up the minors when he was with the Bees when none of you even knew he was, with a few exceptions of course. I don’t even hate the guy. I just like ripping on him cuz people lose their mind. Guys saying he is underrated missed that arguments shelf life which was many many years ago. Trout gets a pass for using PEDs but Bonds and Maguire still being crucified years after the fact cuz they didn’t have some constant shit eating grin.

    Trout a great stat guy
    Plays with no emotion
Not a guy that cares about winning and losing
    Not a leader

    Those things help teams wins

I think his wife likes living at the beach and wants to stay. The Trouts are big fish in a huge pond. Without her, he probably would have signed a big contract with the Phillies or one of the NY teams.
