The asses in seats is exactly why a team would want him. How have the Phillies been doing attendance wise? I've only been to that park once years ago and the place was packed. And if I remember correctly, it was a Tuesday night game.

This is an interesting situation. He could probably snatch up 100-150 million for just a few years and be on a legit title contender. He would be essentially betting on himself and if the market were completely different in a few years he’d be able to essentially collect the same contract but at 27/28 years old. Just don’t know how you’d pass up north of 300 million, it’d be a huge risk.

He will take the money and fade away after 4-5 years. Would never dump 300 million on him. He’d be a fool to take a five year deal. If some dweeb wants to give him 10 years then have at it.

Would be crazy to take the shorter deal with the Dodgers. Then again it’s crazy for a .279 hitter to get 10 years. Unreal.

really what is the difference between 150 and 300. I think you can still afford pretty much anything and the 150 difference would probably not be touched until his great grandson starts gambling with it

who would give a guy 300 mil who just swings for the fences every time with an awkward swing still ends up with no more than 30-35 and always injured. he led the league in walks last year and batted .249 why were they walking him

Crazy to even say, but this 10 year deal may go down as the worst. He’s a bum.
