I think Heavy got the wrong Castillo, the Castillo that died played from 2004-2008ish and was 37.

Im surprised more of this doesn't happen in the DR and PR... crazy ass drivers. I know there has been a few others over the last few years but still.

Pointing out differences in quality of cultures is considered hate speech and strictly forbidden by our liberal overlords.
You see why millennials have no judgement or ability to see danger when theyve been brainwashed out of their survival instincts.

well we people of spanish descent are taught to talk with our hands. Ergo it is why we have problems driving. You are so correct about how bad the driving is in puerto rico. But if you ever go to the Philippines it is even worse. Prayers to these young men who lost their lives way to soon.

Apparently there was a rock in the road (I'm assuming a huge one), the car hit it and flipped, wtf. I've heard roads in those countries down there are terrible, but my goodness. Sad stuff. RIP

Wow, now they're saying the rock was put in the road on purpose. The two dead and the two that lived were looted/robbed after the accident. Apparently a common occurrence in Venezuela. This was murder.

turns out it was a hit job typical in these 3rd world Hispanic sh1thole countries. And you wonder why stereotypes exist? Is noticing patterns 'racist'? why do you censor yourself from observing reality?

    unreal

CARACAS, Venezuela -- Former major league players Luis Valbuena and Jose Castillo were killed in a car crash caused by highway bandits who then robbed them, officials said Friday.
The 33-year-old Valbuena and 37-year-old Castillo died late Thursday when their SUV crashed as it tried to veer around an object on the road, Yaracuy state Gov. Julio Leon Heredia said on his Twitter account.
Officials said some bandits place or throw objects on highways to force vehicles to stop or crash so they can rob the occupants. Heredia said four people have been detained after being found with property of the athletes.
Valbuena and Castillo were teammates on the Cardenales de Lara team in the Venezuelan winter league and were returning from a game in the capital when the crash occurred en route to the city of Barquisimeto.
Third baseman Carlos Rivero was in the car and survived, according to the website BeisbolPlay.
