Counsell at it straight away today. Long day ahead for that Brewers pen after yesterday this is going to be interesting.

I don't get this. Did they have to pitch Miley to one batter before pulling him for Game 6? Why not just start the reliever? Is there a penalty from MLB for switching the starting pitcher so late?

Yeah so if Miley was "hurt" or get sick or something warming up and they were going to start another pitcher, the Dodgers would have the option to adjust their lineup as needed. Miley didn't even have to finish the at bat, he could throw just 1 pitch and they could pull him and then the Dodgers would still be screwed. Originally Posted by Seattle Slew
It's a little bush for sure, we used to do similar stuff in tournament play against teams that weren't familiar with us. Have a LHP warming up in the pen before the game and then actually start a RHP or vice versa. The move the Brewers did today is very rare and can't remember a playoff game where anything like that has happened.

I can't believe how dead the Dodger bats have been and are.. Same old story today.. Wouldn't be shocked to see this 1-0 be your final score..
Dodgers should play small ball and bunt runners over when they get lead off hitters on.. Try a suicide bunt squeeze when runners are on 3rd.. It's getting that bad that maybe you try it..
