    COL/CHC starting lineups

    Rockies
    1. Charlie Blackmon (L) CF
    2. DJ LeMahieu (R) 2B
    3. Nolan Arenado (R) 3B
    4. Trevor Story (R) SS
    5. Matt Holliday (R) LF
    6. Ian Desmond (R) 1B
    7. David Dahl (L) RF
    8. Chris Iannetta (R) C
    9. Kyle Freeland (L) P

    Cubs

    1. Ben Zobrist (S) RF
    2. Kris Bryant (R) LF
    3. Anthony Rizzo (L) 1B
    4. Javier Baez (R) SS
    5. Albert Almora Jr. (R) CF
    6. Daniel Murphy (L) 2B
    7. Willson Contreras(R) C
    8. David Bote (R) 3B
    9. Jon Lester (L) P

I'm a little surprised to see both Dahl & Murphy in the lineup but other than that pretty much what I expected to see. I know Dahl has been hot as of late and that is probably why he is in there.

Here's your pitcher vs. batter statistics. Not a lot of history of Kyle Freeland vs. the Cubs, but the Rockies hit pretty well on Lester. My money is on the Rockies (but I'm also a homer ). I compiled these on R from Sports Reference.

Feel like it anyone’s guess wtf we gonna see from Freeland, he prob doesn’t even know as he has never really went on short rest. Rox hit fastball and cutter from lefties better than cubs do and both pitchers obviously lefties who both rely on lot of fastballs and cutters.

Yeah I have flip flopped on this game and done a complete 180. I originally like the Cubs and was only focusing on Lester in a 1 game playoff and the fact Freeland was on short rest. After doing my homework I now like COL and have actually just placed a wager o them +127 ML with my reduced juice at 5dimes. I see the game broken down like this

Starting Pitching - CHC Still gotta give the edge to Lester here as he has the more proven history in these games and knows what to expect.

Offense - COL Over the last 7 games Rockies are scoring 7.1 RPG while CHC is 4.3 RPG

Bullpen - COL I can break this down easily enough over 4 pitchers for both sides Rockies Oh, Oberg, Ottavino, Davis I like and no Edwards, Kintzler they were left off the roster, Cishek has pitched in 5 out of the last 6 games and who the hell knows what you will get from Strop. I don't like the cubs other options at all period

Manager - CHC I will give Maddon the edge here, but Black has gotten way more out of this Rockies ball club than anyone thought possible he has actually formed one of the better pitching staffs in the NL which is an amazing job on his part.

I also like the fact Rockies are 7-3 last 10 games played @ Wrigley, I think this game comes down to the bullpens and I already made my feelings known above about which bullpen I prefer. Add all of that together and I'm taking Colorado Rockies +127 GL everyone!

Certainly agree rox have pen advantage and yea rox pen been good but I still don’t exactly trust those guys to come in and get pressure packed outs late. Sounds like cubs likely to use starters instead of pen, who knows how that go? Some starters take to pen well, others not so much.

Well you were right about Otto they tried to get 4 outs with him and it almost cost them the game. All is well that ends well however and I'm 3-0 now in the playoffs. Been playing the baseball playoff contest too.
