    colorado vs st. louis

    why is st. louis -137 when they have a losing record and weaver is 6-9. vs. colorado freeland who is 9-6? anyone got input on this game ?

    Weaver is the better pitcher, but yeah, Cards do seem overvalued. I only get St. Louis 53% (-113)

    I will say Freeland is a prime candidate for regression (in a bad way) with a 4.39 xFIP vs. 3.13 ERA. Still cant bet Cards at the price though.

    yea i thinking cardinals win today. this was the same thing happen last time when they faced cubs. lester with 9-2 record and got beat

    Stop looking at W/L record and head-to-head, that crap means nothing. Either sampling is too small or, when sample is larger, it goes back too many years.
