    Neither pitcher was good in their last starts before this one.

    I'm with you pal...have the Padres. Ross schooled the exact same lineup in April...went 7 and two thirds, only let up 1 run and like 3 hits...I'm on fukking tilt right now. Arizona being as big a favorite as they were despite Ray's struggles and Ross' last start against Zona was trying to tell me something, and I knew it when I put this bet in, too.

    Now he's on my "what a fukking hamburger" list with guys like Bruce Rondon and Kyle Seager. Fukking losers.

    I took the value on a guy (Ross) that pitched well against the same lineup earlier in the year, plus a gascan like Robbie Ray...but overlooked what the line was trying to tell me. I usually say something to myself like "Why are the Padres +170?" and then bet the other side, but tonight I didn't listen to that instinct. It's getting embarrassing. Maybe a Padres ML/Under parlay is the situational auto play tomorrow??? Under theory at least worked today with Phils/Pirates.

    I hear guys say both and certainly understand both trains of thought.
