955 Miami Marlins +215 (5 dimes) 1 unit/2.15units
Miami comes to Chicago on a modest 2 game winning streak (scoring 14 runs in these 2 games) also winning 7 of their last 10. They are getting no respect against the Cubs tonight but at this price they deserve a look. Their starting pitcher is sporting some excellent early season stats with 33 innings pitched allowing 1.09 earned runs and a 0.85 WHIP. He posts 6 innings against these Cubs on opening day allowing 1 hit and 0 runs.
The Cubs look to be going in the opposite direction losing 5 in a row and only winning 5 of their last 10. Chicago played last night against their arch rival STL and flew back and will play this evening. I am hoping they my be a little lackluster and drained in this position. I think getting the Marlins at this price may be worth a small wager here.
