Baseball not my favorite sport to bet, but I'll throw one down every so often if I like the match up or want to tail someone I think has a good pick. I prefer doing the run total if I do bet a game.

you should wait 2 weeks or until both starting pitchers have at least 3 starts. this would make game #16 the earliest possible time to make that 1st bet. after that throw out games in which SP have not made those 3 starts. there will be enough games to play still.

Bout 56 or so plays in. Bout 8-10 games over playing mostly dogs and totals. Don't see any point in waiting, more power to ya if you do. I'm usually bout finished by all star break. For me this when the getting is good.

Only non sharps wait. How could you not take advantage of bad lines by the books in the beginning of the season as they are trying to figure things out? Waiting only allows them to catch up and make sharp lines that are hard to beat

Only have bet Mets, done well. Bet Harvey, DeGrom, and Thor... faded Matz... skipped todays game but did bet over 1.5 F5 on the Mets which went well.

I made the decision after being destroyed every year at the beginning of baseball. My time to shine is always the month after the All-star break; it is what it is.

Because on any given day the best team can be beat by the worst team .But I always have a little wager going because with my method I can't ever lose BUT don't make big gains . Keeps me active until football season is here again.

Stay away from favs and don't go crazy on a single game thinking it a lock when day to day results incredibly ramdom! I've found for me the best way to go about it is flat betting w lots of volume targeting dogs that quite honestly have a much better chance of winning than odds suggest and while you might not get rich you also won't bury yourself if you can stay disciplined and stick to the grind. I can certainly understand while that isn't for some as it takes a lot of work (I'm pretty much burnt out by the all star break!) and doesnt always pay off great I really enjoy capping bases so for me the entertainment aspect is well worth it.

I understand you guys that want a few games pitched before getting involved but thing is majority of these guys have years of track record to go by with lots of data on how they perform early (and every month for that matter), that combined with little reading during spring training (not worried or read anything into ST numbers but just velo, timing, feel all information that can be attained to paint a pretty good picture on how you can expect guys to perform).

To each is own and by no means am I suggesting I know any more than anyone else! Just saying there plenty of numbers, data, angles to cap in these early games, it by no means a dart throw some suggest. I guess in a way it is but my ultimate goal is to get down on coin flips at plus money! If any of ya'll want to meet up and give me +120 or whatever to call heads or tails my door always open per-say!! lol

I realize you were responding to a asshole comment but this whole thing you have suggesting there isn't already plenty of stats, trends, data at beginning of season and it somehow throwing darts compared to what you will be doing in a few weeks or however long when you jump in is just wrong. There just as much to cap right now is there will be later, most these guys have been around and have accumulated plenty of things to cap, of which very little will be different after a few weeks/month.
