Which MLB Team Will End The 2018 Regular Season With The Worst Record?

There are a few early candidates.

I think we are looking at Det and TB.

For some reason the NL teams always seem to win 75 games but in AL you see more 100 loss teams. Idk just seems that way to me.

I think San Diego is going to have a heck of a time winning games this year!

I thought SD too but again, even the last 2 years they win 70+. Must be the pitcher batter or something- you just don't see complete dumpster fires in the nl.

I know they got off to a 0-3 start at home, but I don't think they are the worst. I think they will be somewhere in the middle of the pack in runs.........but rotation and bullpen is easily bottom couple.

You could be right but they were projected to win 63 games. That's pretty bad

Marlins won’t have the worst record in MLB. Book that.

Because there are so many bad teams in the NL so it's hard to have 100 loss seasons when you're playing 5-6 other teams on your level. IIRC by early June last year 7 of the 15 teams were already projected to have less than 5% chance of making the playoffs.

If Detroit was in the AL East it would be a 100 loss candidate for sure. But because KC, Detroit and the White Sox face each other so many times, none of them will be the worst. Same issue with the NL East. I'm thinking Baltimore as a limping dark horse that hasn't been mentioned yet. That team has had extreme luck over the years outperforming its pythagorean and Showalter's lucky rabbit's foot is overdue to wear off.

Padres pitching is okay. I think they'll finish last in the NL West but I think they'll win 75 games.

Well at least we know there won't be a bunch of teams tanking like in the NBA since I believe the draft is in June and there are 40 rounds

You would think they will launch Castro, Prado (if he builds up some value), Straily and maybe Barraclough at the deadline.

If they’re going to burn the house down they should burn it all the way down.

Not trying to boast but I'm 4-0 betting against the Rays so far.

    They-are-horrible.
